Great videos Mike, Gary, Rollie and Matt. I enjoyed all of them.

This is a tribute to Stevie Ray:

Licks ‘n sticks. Just catching up and spent some time enjoying all the stuff I recently missed on this thread. Really good posts guys.

Great playing on the traps with Richie, Mike. :D
The vids are all mighty fine, to be brief . . . and yeah, The House Of Blue Lights fella had a great arrangement and he owns it.
This should be a terrific show:

Wow FSB! I used to watch that show and I remember seeing it in '58.

Thanks for the memories by posting that!

You’re very welcome, Mike. This Rick Nelson/James Burton clip was a surprise for me so I thought it might be for others too, :D Prolly no surprise for JB super fans.

Mrs. FSB and I were moving out of province late in 1985. We were given a farewell by being taken to a Winnipeg concert, a Rock and Roll Revival with Bo Diddley, Leslie Gore, and others that our best friends had bought tickets for. The headliner Rick Nelson was a no show. He, his girlfriend, and band members died shortly after in a plane crash on New Year’s Eve that year. The pilots narrowly escaped from the cockpit. Rumours followed; but, out of respect I’ll leave it at that.

Thankfully, James was not guesting on that gig.

Nice video, Gary. I remember my sister being in full swoon mode when she watched Ricky. :)

Burton also played a Ricky (see what I did!) on the show at times :

I'm guessing that the majority on here have not seen that show.....ever?

Great Nelson Brothers’ vid, Mike. Obviously, Rick’s talent rubbed off on his boys. :D

Rock ‘N Roll forever. Maybe. Maybe not. That’s what they said about Jazz and the Blues. :P

Fact - It is absolutely impossible to look more cool than Elvis did on the '68 Comeback Special.
