Beautiful jazz by Pat Martino, Nat. Nice post.

I think I heard Jerry Lee, but I saw Robert Wells. :P What a great tribute to Roy Buchanan from Jim Campilongo. Loving the lap guitar sound, Thanks, for the vids, Mike.

I don’t know what this is all about, but I know his solo is overwhelming

Interesting post with the Fendermen, Mike. I have that original 45 in my collection from my teenage years. As simple as it is, I still love it. I know the history of those guys and I was disappointed when they split.

The popular Aussie Fendermen group is a bit of a mystery to me because, no matter what I read, the name transfer and song covers seem a bit strange; although, with Fender’s endorsement and short lived time of the original American band, it makes sense, I suppose. My guess is The Fendermen name was not copywritten. Most of the groups laid claim and lawsuits throughout that era. Even the Guess Who discovered the practice earlier on.

The other Fendermen

But, check this out:

Cheers!

Dang! I posted in the wrong thread here for last Saturday’s Goodnight. Easy to get mixed up with the phone and text off page. I was overtired to boot. Ah well, at least I got to see your Chantays and great Jimmy Page posts here, Mike. Speaking of B benders, for those unfamiliar (also posted elsewhere) here’s Brad with a great B/G bender explanation:
