Thanks, Ghost. That's the beauty of having some old analog formats. A lot of recordings on reel, cassette, and 8 track tape are only in those formats with some junk and some gems. Records are over 100 years old and it’ll be a long time if ever that they become digital. Some are lost temporarily, and many are gone forever.

Just think of the unreleased recordings that are in vaults or a forgotten box or shelf. Prince, Jackson, Presley, Lennon, cuttings on the floor, and who knows what’s out there?

Surprisingly, under different circumstances, amongst hidden recordings there are unsung stars that might have seen the spotlights, and songs that should have reached our ears.

Maybe the best is yet to be uncovered.

Great find on Jimi, Ghost.

Mike: Great live version of a great classic song. Hot Rod Lincoln.

Got the vinyl album and now I’ve seen the lyrics. Strange how you can listen to a song and yet the lyrical interpretation is not fully brought to the front of the stage. Thanks, SBLS.

Good pick, ghost_of_strings. As a fan of Aerosmith, their version of Mother Popcorn is one more song sure to have, “Hey! Did ya hear that great new song by . . . ?” I’m sure my parents went through that with music of their time, and I know I did and probably still do. For the lesser informed on Mother Popcorn, I thought Steven nailed it and this guy managed to get Steven’s moves down pat.

Some great clips added guys!!!

Wish there was a "live" clip of this...used to play it back in the 60s.

It's an older song with Clapton on guitar and John Mayall :

Marky: Another fabulous heart warming video that shows the beauty in the world. I wish the project and all those involved the best. Thanks, for posting.

That Mayall video was a lot of fun. Good music too. Thanks, Mike. HB
