Mike's video works. When it fails to play, just click where it says "watch on youtube". The person who posted the video disabled embedding, which is what you are doing by linking it here on the forum.

Nice jam. Why did Joe whack the top of his amp at around 06:29?

That's a good question.

I was thinking maybe his reverb was acting up. He also turned a knob down right after whacking the amp, and it looks like it might have been the reverb. But I did notice his tone went a little clean right before that like it lost some power. Well, he handled it professionally either way.

That's a good thought and it makes sense.

Couldn’t have been much of a big deal . . . I didn’t notice it.
Great video, Marky. :D

Yup! That done do it. That usually works, except when it doesn’t on this side of the bubble. :P

I think it was because the amp was refusing to explode into space.

I was reading an article yesterday on performers who died without a will.

Prince and Aretha - neither had one!

Since it would not have been beneficial to either, maybe they thought it would prevent ill feelings and curb fighting over it; although, that’s no assurance.

With Aretha I find that odd as she was known for charitable work. Prince also contributed to charities, but his religion discouraged talking about it.

Aretha was plagued by illness over some time, with Prince it may have caught him unprepared.

I guess that just puts them with the greater population in the world who have no will or trust.

It's very surprising to me that those people never had a will. Interesting post, FSB and nice follow up, Mike.
