The Spotnicks - classic faves with the great Albert Lee to boot. Very cool.

Asleep At The Wheel - what a tight group with vocals so perfectly matched. I agree Mike that it is one of the best versions of Route ‘66.

Thanks, for sharing these vids. :D

My pleasure FSB.

One of my acoustics is an Ovation and I found this setup video (including shims)
helpful - maybe some others will too :

I don't have an Ovation but this is a good-to-know video. Thanks Mike.

I would love to hear the isolated audio from his acoustic.

Good observation ghost_of_strings. I’d love to hear any audio from his acoustic. But, I still like this kid. At least he’s not one of these kids who does an over done Bob Fossey cube strut while lip syncing a track left over from a Disney performance. :P

I really like his vocals. He tends to sing a little sharp but it works. I just think it's funny when you get to the chorus and that heavy acoustic riff kicks in, he slings the guitar to the side.

I caught that too. I think it would be a blessing if I could do that. Lucky kid.

The New Highway Hymnal “More” was Kick- Ath, spacewolf. I really liked it.
