Good Chicago post, Mike . . . and that’s why their band chasin’ motorcycle cop poster is mounted on the wall next to my traps along with a Fender sign. :P

Lyrics
In the days of my youth
I was told what it was to be a man
Now I've reached the age
I've tried to do all those things the best I can
No matter how I try
I find my way to do the same old jam
Good times, bad times
You know I had my share
When my woman left home
With a brown eyed man
Well, I still don't seem to care
Sixteen I fell in love
With a girl as sweet as could be
Only took a couple of days
Till she was rid of me
She swore that she would be all mine
And love me till the end
When I whispered in her ear
I lost another friend
Good times, bad times
You know I had my share
When my woman left home
With a brown eyed man
Well, I still don't seem to care
Good times, bad times
You know I had my share
When my woman left home
With a brown eyed man
Well, I still don't seem to care
I know what it means to be alone
I sure do wish I was at home
I don't care what the neighbors say
I'm gonna love you each and every day
You can feel the beat within my heart
Realize, sweet babe, we ain't ever gonna part

Good call, Rollie. That Christian Rap by Dillon was smokin’. As I’ve said elsewhere, I hate “bad” rap, which by elimination there is plenty of, and I steer clear of it so I can appreciate the good stuff that filters through. The bad stuff can move to the back of the bus, there’s only a few good seats up front on my ride. There’s obvious raw talent with this fella. IMHO. Nice!

Great song, Mike. The song is one of my all time faves, and I am a fan of Paul Carrack. Even though the lyrics would point to adultery, it has a connection to the bass player who, reportedly, was secretly with another band.

I have the same drums in aquamarine, and I noticed in the video that the small tom appears to be upside down! It could be intentional, but that would be odd unless the top skin had broken before this recording?

.
I also like this song (in different versions) so I thought I’d ‘Do It Again’. :D
