Dang! One of the first songs I thought I learned on the guitar and piano. Now I think my song was a completely different one.
Thanks, for that awesome treat, Mike. Tommy was and is amazing to say the least. Now I have to lurn all over from scratch. (yeah . . . in my next life).

FSB
Might as well stay original so as not to appear worse.

Lovin' this thread, and Manchester Orchestra's take on Rupert Holmes' Escape, SBLS.

Andy McKee, sweet, Mike. Tapping the body reminded me of my old folk days with John Henry and my lame attempt at Maleguana. But, Andy's technique is a wonder to listen to. And who wouldn't like the Who? Thanks, for those.

I was searching for something else when I ran across this. Thought youse guys and gals might like it:

I'm getting older and the skills I desire are limited by the time I have; but, after seeing this 81 year old, maybe there's hope for me yet. :D

That was a treat, Rollie.

In 1965, I and two mates were in uniform walking down the street in Hamilton, Ontario when someone hollered my name from a doorway of the Golden Rail nightclub. It was a school chum from Nova Scotia.

We hadn't seen each other for years and he was the bouncer. I noticed a photo outside that announced Haley was playing that evening. We were invited for the show; but, my mates were also my responsibility as we were enroute to Halifax. Being underage (I was 18 they were 17) I thanked him and declined. He said he would look for us later, and would take care of everything.

Long story short, we found ourselves at a reserved table just feet from the band, met Haley and the Comets, and it was one of the hilights in my life.

Sadly, Bill died a tragic death at the age of 55 (February 9, 1981) as an alchoholic and with a brain tumour. I heard he was sometimes found alone in a bar where nobody knew him.
