Meshuggah, now that is heavy stuff! Cool choice, Rollie, that was a good song. 8) Those baritone guitars give the tone some snap, even in low tunings.

This is a really good documentary about how Southern culture is influencing the heavy metal scene there.

Ralph, thanks for posting, I watched the entire docu. and it was cool. The southern metal scene is unique heavy and rhythmic. John, spot on for black sabbath turned the page in the big book of rock and roll.
Here is a Chicago metal band with the soul of the south. My drummer (my great nephew, I don't believe I've revealed this before) from Solarcoaster and the singer Rusty that still hangs with me to this day. They took their name from Bunker Hill woods just north of Chicago where the young gathered to enjoy life:

Yep, you ripped it up good with Sabbath, ripitup, thanks for that.

The Bunker Hill song and story are both pretty cool, Rollie. 8) 'What's wrong with me?', yeah I ask myself that all the time.

Glad you enjoyed it!

This is one of the bands from the Slow Southern Steel, a very dark and atmospheric doom band called Dark Castle.

Very heavy Ralph. Sounds a little like they are going on the Meshuggah path, nice. :D

They might be, Rollie, glad you liked it. :D

I'm going to post one more by Mountain of Judgement because it is just so, so good. Again, a driving rhythmic riff, great melody, and good solos. Also, the lyrics in this one are rather uplifting.

I liked that tune Ralph. I was thinking of a video to go along with it and got distracted by the TV and my brain farted my right eye blew up then shrank down. To reboot here is some old school industrial metal, maybe I'll get back my train of thought

Hi Rollie, that was pretty good! Sounded like it was in a major key, kind of fun and uplifting.

And now, it's time for George.
