Don't kill this right away, it's worth sticking it out past the opening credits.

Ceri - Here's an acoustic band you might enjoy.

To Twelvebar and Dugger - excellent! Thank you so much for pointing me at those.

And to Miami Mike: thank you for coming up with such a neat thread. I'm really enjoying being directed towards stuff I wouldn't have found on my own. I've already discovered new things to like. Great!

Let's keep this one running, guys!

Cheers - C

Here's a true Canadian legend. Stompin' Tom Connors

He's a giant in the Canadian Folk world. He was the first person i ever saw in concert, my grandfather took my brother and I to the Legion Hall to see him, when i was 3. I still remember it. You'll see the piece of plywood he stands on, its there, cus he'll stomp a hole through it during the coarse of the show, hence the name. i remember being amazed seeing the big hole after, when I was a youngster.

There's probably a couple more obvious choices for songs, like 'The Hockey Song' a real anthem for us up here, or a couple other of his more popular tunes, but I think all the guitar players here can relate to this one.

It's a shame that so many good ones have been removed from YT for whatever reason. I was looking through my favorites and noticing that from past three years.

This one's kind of interesting, Jeff "Skunk" Baxter & The Ventures :
