Be sure to research all that you can and play each one that you're interested in before you make any purchases. What type of music are you in to and are you a begginer. Plase give us more info so we can help you better.

check out what styles of music you want to play. a strat for excample you can use for differnt styles. before i make any purchases i check in local music stores some guitars in handling and sound.

If you don't know what to get, buy a MIM Std. Or - if your checkbook is especially fat - an MIA Std. You can't go wrong...

Play all the guitars in your price range. The one that feels the best, sounds the best would be my choice. Always a plus if it happens to be a Fender.
