Quick little tid bit of information - hope this helps someone out! lol

If you have young kids around, before flipping that standby switch on your amps, give your volume controls a quick glance to make sure they are adjusted to the "expected" volume! lol

This is why I have an amp with the knobs at the back... doesn't stop him coming over and pulling the tip off my pickup selector switch, though! When his mum's out of the house, he goes and drags the tweed case out from where it's stashed, grabs a lead and comes to me saying "uh, uh, uh"... yeah, he knows what time it is... heh.
