Hey all,

Drew from IK Multimedia here. Just wanted to let you know that AmpliTube Fender® 1.1 has been released, and is available now in your user area- http://www.ikmultimedia.com/userarea/. Made specifically to address the requests of end users, we have included some of the most requested gear in this update.

New Gear:

Stomp Boxes-

Fender® Compressor Stomp
Fender® "Wah" (with both "Crybaby" and "McCoy" voicings)
Fender® Tremolo Stomp

New Rack FX
Fender® '63 Reverb Tank Rack Unit

The really cool thing about this update is that YOU, the end user, had a hand in it. With this update, we added/moved around gear so that you can have the chain you want. For new users, of course there is a demo available- http://www.ikmultimedia.com/fender/download/, and for all existing users, the update is available for free in your user area! As well, for all owners of multiple "Powered by AmpliTube" products, AmpliTube X-GEAR has been updated to version 1.5 so that users can take advantage of the new gear while mixing and matching with their other packages!

Like always, if you have any questions, let me know.

Cheers,

Drew

Wow, very cool! I had posted about AmpliTube's Fender version here, but there seems that not many here record.

I also fixed the link http://www.ikmultimedia.com/fender/download/

I couldn't wait to do a test recording using AmpliTube Fender® amp models http://soundclick.com/share?songid=7817394

I used Reaper http://www.reaper.fm/, with a Edirol UA-4FX http://tinyurl.com/mjs6kn as the audio interface.

I found a simple drum loop and inserted that in Reaper, than after about a hour of playing with all the Fender amp models chose one of the VibroKing presets

Than I was excited to see a bass model

After about another hour of playing, I chose one of the Vibroverb models for the lead guitar, that I tweaked a little

Wow, the IK engineers did a great job with the software. You can tweak and save any combo of settings very easily.

Any blip & clips you may hear is my doing. My PC isn't really setup for recording, I don't have any monitors but have a pro set of headphones.

I recorded a backing track for Miami Mike http://soundclick.com/share?songid=7823562 using the AmpliTube Fender® amp models.

Another great feature of this software, is the tuner, it's really accurate, and again I must write, it's very easy to tweak the settings of any amp models. You treat the controls just like you would a physical amp.

I'm stuck with using one drum loop, but that's alright, I'm still excited by recording with the AmpliTube Fender® amp models.

Just for the heck of it I downloaded (#12 )Slow Down Blues http://gc.guitarcenter.com/kingoftheblues/track_12.cfm frrm GC's King of The Blues site.

I used the '57 Bassman 'Creamy' amp preset to record a lead to the backing track http://soundclick.com/share?songid=7848238, my wife needed to talk to me, while recording, so there are are couple of clams.
