The Artist Series Stevie Ray??

That Jazzmaster above has a tad too much red/orange in it for me.

I can understand that. The black and red areas are almost exactly the same width, and the yellow isn't much bigger. It's almost a "German flag" burst!

This is Alainlafrance's "Buddy". See how it compares to the guitar above. The two-color burst was transitioned into the three-color with the same soft terminator between light and dark. Note how it differs from the later years.

This was the look of my guitar.

I have never owned a Sunburst Strat. Can't think of any particular reason why I haven't but I do own two Sunburst Teles and a Sunburst Classic Player Jazzmaster Special. Here's a pic of my three Sunburst Fenders bursting in the desert sun.

I almost burst into flames while I was taking that pic. It's time to camp out in front of the beer fridge for a while.

Nice pic. Nice part of the country, too. Have a friend in Phoenix. Was out that way about 6 years ago. Ever run into Stevie Nicks?

No Doc, never had the pleasure. Stevie sold her Paradise Valley house two years ago and moved back to California so the chances are even slimmer now. Ah well, at least Alice Cooper is still around. :)

I just joined the club this weekend.

My second '97 Voodoo strat, this time around I went with Tobacco Sunburst. My first sunburst strat. I don't think I'll ever look back.

That is one gorgeous Strat mthomps07. I'll bet it sounds wonderful through that Deluxe Reverb. Congrats.
