Post subject: help me finish my jimi hendrix strat project

I'm almost done i just need to know what gauge wire to use. I have a MIM loaded pick guard of a Jimi Hendrix Woodstock clone and i need to wire the out put jack and tremolo... thats all please help this voodoo child scream with Jimi's tone

Hi TaSlAyEr: welcome to the Forum.

22AWG wire of 0.112" diameter is the way to go. If you want to be vintage correct about it there's many sellers of guitar parts out there who can supply you exactly the right stuff. Just Google "vintage push-back wire" and take your pick.

i dont have a lefty like that :( but it will buy a lefty neck when i get the $$ and just put it up side down to give it the true hendrix look

i wired it all up and fix the string buzz and then the sound of the of the rock gods poured into it with amazing tone its still semi-finished need to change the neck from a cheapo starcaster to a all maple lefty neck
