Surely, you people have a list of guitars and amps, or even a picture of your Fender gear. Let's talk fender. No more of these 'name a band' threads. Let's talk about the best guitars made and the most amazing amplifiers built today! :)

If there are no bands then talking gear makes no sense.
No narrow minds please.
Also, showing of your rigs ??
Peter :D

Show us your gear threads are already running in the various forums specific to the gear.

In our band we have lots of great Fender Equipment. My Dad Plays out of a Tweed Blues DeVille He has a Nashville Telecaster and a Delux Players Strat. My Grandfather has an oringal 50's Fender Bassman. He has an American Delux Strat and an original 60s Gibson ES335. I Play Bass in the band and guitar on some songs. I have a MIM 60s Reissue players strat, A MIM HSS Strat and another strat that I pieced together off of ebay. My Bass is an Alvarez Bass and I play out of an SWR 4x10 amp.

Here is a picture of us for a show. It was only a 45 minute set so we didnt take all our stuff Just my Dad and Grandpas Amps and a few guitars the rest of the equipment is the sound companies.

To me that pic [in the first post!] represents what so (read: too) many modern bands are like today.

All guitars/posing and no concern for the rhythm section (ie boring bass/drumlines).

Anyway, being a lowly student my 'rig' (if you can call it that) consists of a 1990 MIA Jazz Bass in black/black/rosewood and a 160W Laney RB4 combo. Sometimes I add an old 30W marshall MG guitar amp to get some crunchy highs via the Laney's pre EQ D.I.

I use Planet Waves leads and Zachary optimum gauge strings. Think thats it...I'd post a photo but it's too dark in here. There's probably one kicking about here in another thread though.

I love the bassmans. They have such a fat and bold tone. The Super-sonic has the bassman option built into the clean and it sounds really great. The vibrolux is such a different tone. But it's the newest addition and a great sounding amp.

Tip: If you take a 1/4" cable and run it out of the effect out and back into the effect loop in, you can use the level adjust to drive the amp harder. You can almost get the sound of a single rectifier on the gain side. No joke.
