well it depends on which gl your looking at. guitar center carries the bad looking relics which are either esp and or ltd.

but if your going to musiciansfriend or sam ash they carry alot of his cool designs, tribal, skeleton etc....

they are pricey and if your willing to pay over a grand for a gl esp i would get a american fender. thats if your talking the same price range.

depends on your style. his esp sigs have a floyd and sd pick ups. his ltd have licensed and his relics the ones that look like a strat have a strat style trem.

i would go with his esp line if your into the metal look. if your on a budget i would get a mim fender.

i would get a mim fender. the gl ltd is a decent guitar its def low end on the sig line. but its all up to you. i have a kirk hammett 202 the cheapo version. i m in the process of installing a floyd rose original and dual emg 81 pups.

finally got a space cut out, and approval from the bride... ya-hoo! after 27 years of blissful marriage i get to plug and play without having to dig stuff out from everywhere. it's a good day... took about as long to find this thread too ;)
top l to r is a gut string flamenco, no label, and since i bought it back in the late 70's, i still can't find out what it is, ovation 12, bottom l to r - vox valvetronix, eterna 6 string acoustic (old faithful), mim tele, squier cic affinity strat, fender automatic, and my shure 57. pedals are boss noise gate, ibanez delay/echo, cry baby, digitech screamin' blues, dod flashback fuzz.
not much compared to some of the rigs i've seen on this thread... WOW!!... but they're mine, and they all get used.
