Special day in America tomorrow. We've got a lot going for us that other countries wish they had. It's a rough time for all of us right now but Americans always stay the course and come out on top.Thanking a vet for his or her service is the least any of us can do. Just sayin, 8) Mike

Great subject line but I'd modify it to say: thank a vet every day. They were and are out there every day for us so it's no more than right to be thankful for that every day.

Both the 4th of July and Memorial Day are now just days of barbeques and fun in the sun. We couldn't enjoy that juicy burger, that backyard baseball, or the fireworks without the sacrifice of men and women since the beginning of this great country to keep it safe and free. I'll second this post above. Thank a vet with a salute, a handshake, or a few words of gratitude today and every day.
