Kicked the smokes. I had tried to ween myself off them, my smoking ceasation GP encouraged me to quit em outright. So i gave my missus my wallet and my neighbour my cigs. Bought a digitech rp350 with the money i saved. I just found out i've a job starting on monday :D :D :D :D :D And my nut slot files arrived from texas and are a great tool.

Stick with it Niki. The first year is the toughest. I quit in 2000 after smoking since the late 60's.

Thanks Guys. I've not been too bad, only bitten the heads off two people. One my wife the other was some stranger trying to give me a hard time.

Chet thanks mate. The GP told me 1day, 1week, 1year. Then went on to measure my carbon monoxide levels. First time (2weeks ago) it was 44, a very high reading for early afternoon. Monday it was 10. She was stunned that i'd done so well. That spurred me to stop completely. Had a cig monday at 9.30pm and non since.

Mike the Digi is good. I havent tried recording direct with it yet but will later and let you know the outcome

Niki, Dude!

As the impossibly hip, colourfully-garbed, youthful denizens of the great metropolis of Chicago exclaim on occasions of profound delight, their enthuiasm accentuated by flourishing gestures and elaborate hand choreography,

"YOU GO, MAN!"

Save the money for gear and vacations; it adds up fast.
