Yeah right, even though it goes a bit 'over the top' if you can catch the full series, it is actually quite brilliant. Be interested to hear your views.

Hey Chet, if you can find The Lakes as well, I think you might enjoy it.
Not quite the punch of Shameless but a good series. Great storyline with it and the lakes are not too far from me, I had a boat up there once.
Anyway, have fun with your tv viewing.

I don't see "The Lakes" in my guide but I'll continue to look for it.

Chet, if you've got Shameless, you should have the Lakes, meanwhile I'll try and think of some more good one's for you to check out.
Oh!! just thought of one, an oldie but have you checked out Auf Weidersein Pet a mild one in comparison but great fun. Especially the first series when they were in Germany. Very funny.

I didn't find Shameless on BBCA. I found it on Sundance, which is one of my movie channels.

Oh right, well the others might turn up somewhere and I think Shameless might be enough for now anyway.
Oh and I think it's Auf Weidersehen, is it? my german is not good.

Though you should be aware, some Britons reading this are squirming with embarrassment at the idea that particular low rent sitcom should be known beyond our shores. Oh the shame of it...

The fact that it was low rent only made it better. It was odd that a lot of BBC Sitcoms wound up on PBS... I guess Americans can only appreciate music and humor when it goes through the Britons first... Rock n' Roll... The Blues... The Office... :?

Shameless was on a steady decline after Marty left it in the 3rd series.

Are they making another series? I was under the impression that the last one was the end.

Hi Ninja, yeah, they said the last series was the end but I've heard somewhere, they are to make another.
