I'll be straight forward here: I am pretty retarded when it comes to music theory.

I can play at a fairly quick pace, but I am sort of locked down because of my lack of knowledge.

So I was wondering if anyone out there knows of recommendable sites where I can learn this for guitar???

Thanks,

KRAD

Krad I have just what you need . Theres 3 dvds called Essential Guitar Pure Theory. Basic-Intermediate-and Advanced they are buy Danny Gill a killer player and ace teacher. He used to be a student of Satriani and I have abot 25 of his dvds and is Paul Gilbert cool in the way he teaches. You can pick these up on ebay at cascio-interstate-media-market a power seller. As thes tapes are made in the U.K you will save getting them this way and all 3 whith postage will cost you $60 cheaper than one lesson with a teacher and believe me you will thank me as these will keep you busy for months. Keep me informed

Tom Kolb wrote a book for Hal Leonard called Music Theory For Guitarists. It's readily available and only costs about $20, including the CD. I refer to it often and recommend it.

Rudy I have that book to I was kind of Disapointed as the examples are short and theres only so much you can fit in a book. I would recomend you also check out the dvds I refered, if you want to get deep into theory with great live examples.
