I saw AC/DC last Sunday in Co. Kildare Ireland. Over 80,000 tickets sold. Fantastic show. It was the second time i saw them on this tour. Last time was in Dublin with 12,000 people, breathtaking.

If the opportunity arises for anyone to go and see them on this tour, I would thoroughly recommend it.

they were in Athens last month, around 50,000 people attended. I couldn't go but I heard it was amazing.

AC/DC is truly a great band to see in concert -- Angus' solos and stage antics alone are worth the price of admission.

You definitely know what you're getting with them. Saw them once in 1990 (my first ever concert, actually) and again in 2001. Both shows were great, and both virtually identical. They certainly follow the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" philosophy.

Speaking of broken things, it's amazing that Brian Johnson can still talk, much less sing, given the way he's abused his vocal chords over the decades. You'd think they'd be totally shredded by now.

Sorry, it might be just me but......... I can't take seriously a 50+ year old man in a schoolboy outfit. The singer(s) in my opinion are totally useless ..... cyanide, TNT , HIGH VOLTAGE !!!! Junior high school rock (along with KISS ) in my opinion !!!

Oh, it's a totally ridiculous show -- the schoolboy outfit, the giant inflatable woman on stage, the big cannon that gets blown off -- but it's a lot of fun. And, of course, the guitar playing is amazing.

Part of the fun is it being of no redeeming social value!

AC/DC is, in my opinion, the world's greatest Rock N' Roll band.
Name me a band who has made more memorable music, and survived longer than them, and maintained such a high level of musicianship over that time. (First gig was 31 December 1973, for the record.)
There are bands with better lyrics. SOME with better music (sometimes), and some who've been around longer, some who rock harder, etc...

But nobody has as close to the whole package as them.

Also, IMO, if you haven't seen them live, you haven't experienced 'it'.

Saw them twice on the North American leg of this tour (San Antonio, Tampa). Best 4 hours of my life so far.

Rock N' Roll Ain't Noise Pollution. Rock N' Roll...
Is Just Rock N' Roll.

The Rolling Stones have been around since the early sixties, have more classic songs in my opinion ( Satisfaction, Jumping Jack Flash, Paint It Black, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. ) and for the most part are still intact. And Mick doesn't wear shorts & a beanie too

I'll give that one to ya.

I like AC/DC better, but I can't, and won't knock the Stones.

But really, AC/DC get bashed a lot considering that they are in the Stones' league, don't you think?
