ok, so recently my friend got me into this band named matchbox 20, and i fell in love w/them, i also got into rob thomas, and am anxiously awaiting the new album. Anybody here fans of either? Just askin'

Stryder the way your saying it . its as if there a new group.lol Yes I like Matchbox 20 or more to the point I think Rob Thomas is an excellent writer. The guy really knows how to write a catchy pop song. When Smooth first came out it really put him over the top but I dont think I can hear that song (sorry Carlos) for at least another ten years before I would be able to enjoy it again as it might be the most overplayed song ever, and thats a shame because its a really good song but talk about overkill. It was great that Santana finally got his due at the grammies as he is one of my alltime faves but I think the 60s have caught up to him as I can never make sense of any interview he gives these days with all his mystical mumbo jumbo, but when he plays man just one of the greatest tones ever.

i couldnt agree more. hearing these songs brings back memories of my growing up in the 90s
