Hello Nikininja,

He may have been "Born in the USA"
but he won't allow us to watch the vid.

Bet it was a great time.

Cheers.

The first Time I saw Bruce was at the Palladium in NY with my brother right before he hit it super big. He must of played 4 hours and thats no lie. He was just unbelievable the whole band and in a small place like that I remember it like it was yesterday. The next time was at the Garden and it was great but just not the same. It was like the cat was out of the bag. The one gripe I have with Bruce to this day and my brother who is his #1 fan cant argue is that when he went into the R&R Hall of Fame he did not have the Est band inducted with him which was real crummy as those guys were a big reason for his sound. I mean when Tom Petty went in he had the Heartbreakers go in with him and Elvis Costello had the Attractions go in with him and he had not played with them in about 20 years . Classy move Tom and Elvis. Shame on you Bruce that was not right.

This is true. You people didn't pay for that content so you're blocked from viewing it.

However, the BBC has a (hard won) licensing agreement with YouTube, so I'd be amazed if that footage isn't up there very shortly (as of this moment it isn't yet).

I thought the sound quality was amazingly poor, like some other bits of this year's Glastonbury I've seen so far. No explanation for that...

Still: I'd advise Niki to go ahead jump the fence at Hyde Park. The two days I attended of that festival last year had some of the best sound I've ever heard, and the audience was a comparatively cozy 35,000 - small for an outdoor show. I bet Springsteen will blaze on that stage...!

Cheers - C

The long versions of 'Tenth Avenue Freezeout' and 'Rosalita' are something you would enjoy!

i was there, at glastonbury... he was amazing, best set of the weekend... and i'm not really a springsteen fan...

he didn't play born in the usa, but the atmosphere, the show, the interaction... wow.

he also came on stage earlier in the john peel stage to sing a song with the gaslight anthem... again awesome...
