Never heard that particular superstition. I do think you can "over practice" though. Once you've got you set locked in and the songs sound good you're ready. Relax and enjoy the gig.

My message is, if you still sound "iffy" you need to rehearse.

i also got mine last week and wore it on Monday, it is a truly cool shirt. I look forward to the next limited edition giveaway! I am ready to test drive. Maybe they can do a special test drive to become a member of the Road Worn Players Union, which is truly one of the great Fender designs ever!
