He had a brutal childhood that would mess anyone up. We got freaky towards the end, but damn that guy was talented in so many ways. He'll always remain a legend in music.

Michael Jackson was one of those comes around once in a lifetime entertainer. He was a top singer ,writer ,dancer showman the guy could do it all. I also believe he was a pedophile and a sick guy. I dont care how bad a childhood he had, his brothers and sisters had the same father . The one that did him in with me was when he paid the dentist over 20 million to settle out of court. I would of paid 20 million in lawyer fees to clear my name of the most horrible charge you can ever be slapped with you dont pay that much money to settle out of court unless you now your dead guilty and dont have a prayer. So after that whatever the guy did I paid no mind to although I was suprised to hear he died today. I may be wrong but why do I feel like prescription medication is going to have played a part in his death.

He was married to Elvis Presley's daughter.

+1 on the childhood thing. Being thust in the public's eye at age 4 and never knowing what "normal" was.

For several years, my band played "Beat It" and "I'll Be There" along with a couple of others on request.

Well I don't recall myself as one of his fans, but I cannot but give my full respect to the guy. HE truly is the King of Pop.

RIP

Some Hollywood paparazzi supposedly said, "Good career move, now he'll be more famous than Elvis."

Personal thought...maybe now he can be at peace. 'Agree; the guy never knew what "normal" was. Success is as deadly as failure....

Sad news. He was a huge talent and will be remembered as a pop legend.
Strange really, I don't know what to say, what goes on in the mind of someone like him. He lived a life that is hard to imagine but did some great music and had a presence that will live on in history.
R.I.P. Michael Jackson.
