No matter what you persoanally feel about MJ, I have to agree with doc, the maggots that are sucking what ever they can get out of this tragic circumstance are the real evil. they sould all be ashamed.
This could have been done with taste and dignity(like FFs memorial).
Instead they rest him in King Tuts casket and with the exception of the Motown people who really knew him they parade a bunch of pollitical hacks out to serve there careers.
The music was good and a fitting tribute.

I think it was Jennifer Batten who had toured with him in the past.

from wiki -

"She was selected from over 100 guitarists to play in Michael Jackson's band on his one-and-a-half-year Bad tour. She played for a total of 4.5 million people on Jackson's first solo tour, the Bad Tour. In the following years she joined Michael on his "Dangerous Tour" as well as 1997's "HIStory Tour", traveling to such countries as South Africa and India. She also joined him on Super Bowl XXVII's halftime entertainment show, which aired to the largest audience in television history ."

i agree with gratz who agrees with doc. they wanted every last piece of him they wasted him to the end & finally he died. he was a tragic figure from the start but also very bright. & if some people believe these awful rumors about his personal life (which in my opinion arent true) i tell them to look his other side, the side of the artist. if a single person can sing dance write lyrics & music almost perfect, the least you can do is to give him a standing ovation...

RIP MJ

Excellent post, Frankenstein. Count me in the agreement column. He put himself in some bad situations that allowed him to be taken advantage of. As for his talent, he was unbelievable. A once in a lifetime talent...

Totally agree, you guys. A stunningly creative, brilliant, multi=talented, whacko guy = "The King of Pop." RIP Michael.

That big memorial was nothing but a way to hipe sales for his estates value. Come on think about it Kurt Cobain makes between 45 to 50 Million a year, Elvis almost the same. His Family and managers now are thinking dollars. Now you have L.A. trying to find a way to get the cost of overtime caused by the memorial paid back 4 Million to tax payers.

Whether for being famous or infamous....he will always be remebered..

I imagine that I'll be forgotten as soon as the grave diggers leave.

But please don't take it so badly,
'Cause the Lord knows I'm to blame

Ha - good!

In my case, please scatter my ashes in the woods. Where my trees are and my guitars come from. :D

Cheers - C
