Katt Williams said it best about Michael Jackson, and I'll just leave it at that...

God bless Michael Jackson.

An enormous enormous worldshaking talent.

From 'I Want You Back' to 'Thriller' and beyond.

:(

little children all over the world are again at peace

i know, its a bit sick to be humorous at this time, but someone had to do it.
anyway, i give my blessings, because he really did move mountains in his time. its a shame such an awful turn of events had to dilute his true power

Brad, I would ask that this picture be removed from the forum! Thats totally disrespectful, and very tasteless, and that is not what this forum is all about

Show some maturity and respect!

oh alright, withdrawn. don't be such a whining stiff :D

but in my defense, he wasn't very respectful to all the poor mothers whose children were victimized

Another fine guitarist (aside from Eddie) who worked with him :

From Wiki :

Jennifer Batten is an American guitarist who first received word-of-mouth attention that eventually led guitar magazines to take notice of her approach to the electric guitar.

She was selected from over 100 guitarists to play in Michael Jackson's band on his one and a half year world tour. She played for a total of 4.5 million people on Jackson's first solo tour, the Bad Tour. In the following years she joined Michael on his "Dangerous Tour" as well as 1997's "HIStory Tour", traveling to such countries as South Africa and India. She also joined him in Super Bowl XXVII's half time entertainment which aired to the largest audience in television history (1.5 billion).

In the end it is the music that survives -- that inspires us -- that brings us comfort and joy.

I have that track "Never Can Say Goodbye" spinning...

Now I owe lunch to this guy at work. A couple years ago he predicted that MJ would die within 5 years. We made wager, so I owe him lunch.

I'm actually really quite bothered from this. Michaels singing as a kid in Jackson 5 was unbelievable. I'm talking untouchable by anyone.

But I guess whatever way you slide it that Michael is still alive. Only fake MJ is dead.

He led a pretty sad post-childhood existance I think. Or possibly the experiences he had as a child, plus not knowing how to deal with the fame led him down that road. Who knows.

Regardless of what you thought of him, everyone probably has a favorite Michael Jackson song.

That's the truth. How could you sit still with "Thriller" pounding?
