Prime news says he is in a coma after a cardiac arrest
LA times reports Dead

Well, although he was not someone I listened to, obviously he was popular and will be missed. My condolences to all

With all the surgeries he's had, how will they ever identify the body?

(Yes, I know that's tacky, but c'mon. 8))

Wow he will be missed. I remember when Eddie Van Halen did the guitar work on Beat It, I just wanted to be a guitar player more and more.

I remember the Jackson 5 cartoon...that was brought back when I was young (mid-80s). This guy put out a lot of good music. 8)

Regardless of his condition we should take a moment to reflect and wish our best as you are all doing. He will be missed by many that grew up with the Jackson Five on TV.

We also lost Farah Fawcett which I grew up with and idolized.

It's a sad day but I know they are finally free.

Well, I for one, (if it's true), will be sad. Although I wouldn't call myself a fan by any stretch, his talents cannot be trivialized. Writing and singing aside, Michael's dance moves were in a league of their own.

His wealth and cosmetic changes made him an easy target so when there were complaints lodged, it seemed natural for people to think of him as "guilty". Myself, I don't think he had it in him to be that cruel to another human being. I think he was just a kid himself - albeit a very talented kid!

Peace, Gridlok
