I just celebrated our graduation in the school. I performed there, played Yngwie Malmsteen's "Asylum" (part 1: Asylum, part 2: Sky Euphoria, part 3: Quantum Leap). It takes 10 minutes....
Mysteriously, my left arm suddenly got hurt when I was doing the last shred part. I just don't know why....is that because I didn't do enough stretching?
Any suggestion? So I can avoid the same thing at my next performance next month....
Lastly, it's my best performance ever..... :D

Just like an athlete streches out before playing a gamr if your going to shred you have to do the same thing.Every shred dvd I ever watched always streses the fact that you are putting your finger muscles through a lot of work and if you dont warm up you will injur yourself. Check out John Petruccis Rock Discipline dvd as he does a chapter on warming up. You mught even be able to punch in hand warm up on youtube and get some things .A great one I got years ago from Steve Morse was to put your hands under warm water for a few minuetes as it increases the blood flow and that works great.
