Hello Beaubs,

Always interested in a decent read,
I like Jimmy Buffet so I give it a go
for summer reading.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Cheers.

I've read it too and agree that it's a good read. I especially liked the "struggling years" and have a lot of admiration for Peter Mayer, the Coral Reefer guitarist.

Was that the one where they were using a bazooka to shoot at noisy Seadoo riders that had invaded their pristine Bahama cove?

I think there are still only two books by Buffet. Great summertime reading.

I've read "Tales From Margaritaville", "Where In The World Is Joe Merchant", and "A Salty Piece Of Land" all by Buffett. I would recommend all of them. Most of them, and especially "Tales" is a sort of insight to the stories behind some of his songs.
I've wanted to read "A Pirate Looks at Fifty" for quite awhile. I'll have to break down and get it soon.
