Without a doubt, my 2001 Reverse Headstock '68 Re-issue strat (aka Jimi Hendrix Voodoo Strat). Pretty rare, something I worked very hard to have for myself, probably my most highly valued possession.

Also, I had the pleasure of meeting John Mayer two years ago and he signed it for me on the back of the headstock. (Love him or hate him, he's slinging Fenders on the stage!) And regardless of one's opinion about him, it's significant for me because his progression as a guitarist inspired me to progress as a guitarist and keep it up, AND he plays a very similar guitar on stage pretty frequently so it was a nice conversation starter and relevant for him to sign it for me. Basically, pick one of your biggest living influences, and have them sign a guitar you already loved more than anything, and you'll see why it's the only possession I'd hold onto even if it meant sleeping on the street.

It would have to be my MIA Tele -- it's easily my best guitar overall.

But it would be pretty tough to part with my acoustic. I have a Canadian-made Garrison G-20 dreadnought -- it sounds great and would be difficult to replace, since they aren't made anymore (the company was recently bought out by Gibson).

If I had to only keep one guitar...I would keep my HWY1 Stratocaster. It is the best, well rounded guitar I have. It lets me play whatever I want to play and still providing the tones needed to achieve the sounds I want.

Easy, my 74 Strat. I've had it a long time therefore it is significant.
