Man i've had a great fathers day. The kids bought me some razor saws and a vice. Then the missus took em down to her dads so i've been alone all day to saw stuff up. Its been bliss.

It was a great one; a reminder of the toughest long-term job one can truly love. Three truly excellent, accomplished, decent, independent , happy, secure daughters. And burgers and brats on the grille.

And a sad part too, early morning trip to a WW II veteran's museum to pay respects; Father is buried too far away to make the trip regularly.

Good on you guys, who are fathers. We gave raising kids our best efforts....
