WOW, thats the first word that comes to mind! Talk about an awesome show!! Buddy Guy is truely a living legend! I have been a big fan for years, but never truely realized how good he really is until tonight!

I am still, 2 hours later, excited from the show! My girlfriend laughed at me the whole way home, because I was still so excited after the show was over!

First off, we had awesome seats!! We were in the 4th row, left side of the auditorium - The show opened with Little Ed and the Imperials, followed by Shemekia Copeland, Duke Robillard, then Buddy Guy - this was a show for MOUNTAIN STAGE

All of the bands were amazing, Duke was UNREAL!! They all played about 4 songs, then Buddy played an extended set - totally incredible!

It must have been my lucky night, because at the end of his set, Buddy was throwing out some guitar picks, and I seen it coming, it hit my hand, and I missed it, everyone starts scrambling, and I look down and see it right near my girlfriends foot - I GOT IT!!

They then pulled all the bands back out, minus Buddy and started to play an encore (Born Under a Bad Sign), a few seconds into the song, Buddy came back out, once they all took their turn at a solo, Buddy handed off his guitar and came near the front of the stage to sign autographs - I had taken a new strat pickguard with me just in case, and thanks to being 6'1" tall, I was able to hand him the pickguard and he signed it for me!! So we left with a couple nice treasures!!

It was an incredible night!!! Here are some pics from the show...

Buddy playing with his teeth, very fitting since he was playing VOODOO CHILE!

Wow, I'm a big Buddy Guy fan. I've jammed with Buddy & Junior Wells many times back in the early 80's when they both still were doing club gigs.

Buddy never hesitated to show me anything I asked him about playing guitar, and I also learned showmanship from him.

Danny Jones had to go cancel one of the only times good acts come here. I mean Blues Traveler was great last year
