BTW....

The Musician's Enemy is having a big scratch n' dent sale right now. There's some decent deals on a few Fender models...especially basses. I really wanna order something, but the old lady would straight up murder me.

Music123 is now Musicians Friend, Friend bought them in Feb, I just ordered a 65 DRRI and a highway one strat a few weeks ago, and both boxes were stamped with the MF label shipped out of the warehouse in KCMO.

I've purchased over $15,000 worth of equipment from them over the past 2 years and haven't had one problem, even on returns. I would definetely recommend buying from them and I live on the other side of the country from where they're located. They stand behind their products. And, in case anybody is wondering, no, I don't work for them or have anything to do with them besides being a customer.

FOr musical instruments, MF means:

Good price
Little hassle
Most things I want
Overnight shipping for the price of ground because the warehouse is close.

But for pro audio, I go with Full Compass. Amazing discounts.

i would recommend buying from a physical store. that way you can actually see and play the guitar you're going to buy.
unless there are no guitar stores near you, then go ahead and buy online.

I don't have a local guitar store and since I started playing I learned to set up and work on my own guitars, in other words be my own tech. As long as a guitar has no manufacturing flaws, I can set it up how I like it. MF also has a great return policy should not like something you order.

i guess i'm kinda spoiled living in LA. i'm within reasonable driving distance of literally hundreds of guitar stores.

I live in LA.. and where are there "hundreds" of guitar stores???
