My dad got a Fender "Eighty Five" amp a while back in the 90's used, and I was wandering if anyone owns one of these, because they discontinued them. This amp is awsome!

Sure do man. I basically have 2 of them. An Eighty Five and a Studio 85. No difference between the two. Paid $120 for both them from pawn shops.

When we play smaller venues, it's what I regularly use. Even medium sized venues if it's just gonna be miced and run throught the PA and Monitors. I agree, they are great little buggers. Both fit in my trunk pretty easily. Very light-weight. They cut through the mix with ease. They can even cut through a Drummer in Practice. Nice crisp cleans, pretty good dist for leads if you don't require a lot of gain.

Just a head's up. Pawn shops generally don't know how to price these. They seem to believe them to be like a cheap practice amp. But they are actually great for recording, playing gigs and practicing. I also have a Marshall MG-50, and there's no comparison. These guys blow away that amp. These are the only ones I've run across in Pawn shops, but they were priced at $50 and $70. Snag 'em if you see 'em!!
