Good point. 'Have oft wondered why after 60 years, pups tend to be mostly Tele, Strat, P-90 or HB variants.

And guitars, Tele, Strat, LP, ES-335, Firebird and Jazzmaster flavours.

No arguing with success or possibity of painting another Mona Lisa....

I recently blew the dust off my Firebird3 Non-Reverse, sent it to Gibson for a few minor repairs and a set-up. While baby was at the spa I went amp shopping and came home with a G-Dec 30.
Ever hear 40 year old P90s sing like a Strat on sustain-roids ? The guitar was always my favorite, and now with the new amp it's like having a closet full of guitars and no pedal board.
Next treat will be some Gibson Vintage Humbucker strings.
