can someone describe the step by step process

to post a pic from my hard drive here in the text box?

Get a photobucket account, upload the picture, then use the image tags it generates for you.

By image tags he means the [img] tag you see when you hold your cursor over the thumbnail of your uploaded pics.

You take the url of the picture. The site has to be just a picture and nothing else on the page (which is where photobucket comes in.) You then do this:

[img]insert%20image%20url%20here[/img]

The misunderstanding is that you cannot upload a picture from your computer. It has to be hosted by a website first. This is where you upload it from your hard drive to that site. Then post the link to that site on here.
