This might be a stupid question, but how do you change the pickguard? What I mean is, how do you take the knobs and stuff off to remove the pickguard?

The knobs will pull right off then it will expose nuts holding the pots in place. Remove strings and all the screws. The pick guard will come up once all screws have been removed. Make sure you are careful with wiring when you iift it off the body. Remove the PIck Ups and then make sure you put everything into the new Pick Guard the same way you took it out of the old one.

Worth mentioning that sometimes the knobs are screwed on using a little grub screw in the side - check to see there isn't one on yours before trying to pry them off! :)
