Late 70's Ibanez guitars are great (if you can find them @ a decent price).

Well said.
They made some great ones then, like my Iceman.
I was just playing it last night along with a Les Paul and Les Paul copy. the Les Paul & the Iceman take turns which one I like best--and then my Mustang noses in there too.

I like the rich metal sound of an IBANEZ.

but oh,my first electric guitar was a les paul copy made out of plywood, had a fake EMG-like pickups(I tried opening em and i saw single pickup on each  ) and was bolt on.I don't really look much on the brand especially here in the philippines which has so many importers from korea and local luthiers that makes good guitars(say Im full of crap but im not kidding,$100 is all you need to get a very quality one)

Hi Straycat, sorry you've had problems with guitar-collector.org - I am the Admin, so will sort it out for you!

Are you already registered?
Did you receive a confirmation email?

If you email me at "paul -at- marsguitars -dot- co -dot - uk" I'll sort it out for you - new members very welcome! (just realised that PM is disabled in Fender Forum :( )

The same goes for anyone else... join my forum!! If it's easier for you, just email me your preferred username and I'll set you up manually and let you know! New members always welcome. :)

Let me know any problems.

Thanks,
Paul

I'm a Strat guy but I was looking for something different in the Humbucking category and wasn't enamoured with Gibson. I played this guitar and fell in love with it. There are many smaller Luthiers in the US. Gadow is just one of them but I highly recommend you try one. Gadow guitars are made in Durham NC. This is a Custom setneck in Tiger eye finish. 25" scale 12" radius. Ignore the mess in the room.
