O.K I know we are all Fender maniacs thats a given.Outside of my strats and teles I have 4 Wolfgangs as when I was on my way to get a Les Paul I met a Peavey Wolfgang and fell in love, and never ever thought I would own a Peavey guitar but it is a killer ax in every sense of the word.I have played Les Pauls and SGs love a Paul not crazy for an SG.Just picked up a 2009 TELE Deluxe last week. Now I am looking for another guitar with Humbuckers I checked out a music man John Petrucci and it is a nice ax a bit pricey but real nice .I would like to know outside of our number one brand what other guitars do a lot of you guys own that are non Fender or the obvious 2 Gibsons that you think are great guitars that a lot of us probably never played or thought about owning.KEEP ON ROCKING

I find gibson near impossible to play. I do however really like jackson, old charvel's and peavey guitars.

Michael Kelly makes some great guitars for the price and so does Peavey.

Outside of the Big Two?

I'd love to have a Hamer - or three. That Monaco III is too tasty...

And in the same ballpark as Hamer's Studio model are guitars built by a little company called Martyn Booth Guitars. One day maybe my boat will come in and then I can own one of their Signature models:

There was a period of time when my Fenders were put away and I played Ibanez RG guitars. They're great for adding thicker strings and down-tuning. Heavy guage strings don't fit in my 92 Plus deluxe being that it has a roller nut. And I didn't want to mess with the nut on my '57-RI. I was using 13-60 guage strings.

I still do play one of the Ibanez's. They just have a great feel to them.

I have a reissue Danelectro DE59 (cool tone for anything bluesy) and a PRS SE Custom; I plan for a Hagstrom Viking (beautiful ES-335-like, for 1/4 of the price of the cheapest Gibson ES-335).

Besides my Fenders and Gibsons, I've got a Fernandes Dragonfly with sustainer pickup, Ibanez Prestige that's got power and a lightning fast neck, a Gretsch hollow body electromatic that as great tone and I use as my slide guitar too.
I have become a Burns fan. Got a Bison and Marque and I have just acquired a Marvin that sounds and plays great. I haven't been able to put that thing down since I bought it a couple of weeks back. I'm running it through a burns tone pedal, dunlop expression padal and alesis quadraverb rack unit.
I've been expanding my Shadows repetoire with it and Woah!! what a sound. Move over Hank....I've arrived.

Hey Rhumba: would sure like to see a pic of that Burns Marvin. Sounds cool. And I've never heard of the Burns tone pedal - what does that sound like, I wonder?

Regarding the Hank look: it's probably tempting fate to even mention it, but a long running GAS attack I've been suffering from may be coming to a happy conclusion in a couple of weeks. Watch this space...!

I always wanted a hollowbody electric, so when I saw a big, orange Gretsch 5120 Electromatic for $599 a couple of years ago, it was mine in a flash.

I have also owned a Gretsch Electromatic Pro Jet and an Epiphone Casino. One got traded in for an American Standard Strat, the other got traded in for an American Standard Tele. :)

Depends on the guitars I don't care who makes them if it plays well sounds good brand means nothing. Some of the best playing guitars I have played have been made by people that most have never heard of and brand reconition means little to them.
