I really wish they would have picked another name because everytime I see the name Chickenfoot, I think,"Who is that?", and then when I see who it is, I remember about this project or group. The name Chickenfoot makes me think its Bucketheads brother's band or something...I seriously think they should could have called it F-U VH...I mean because all these years we heard it was David Lee Roth who was a diva and difficult to work with...then they reconcile that issue, but then there is an issue with Michael Anthony...so after all this I pretty much think the issues with Van Halen are with the Van Halens and not the non-VH named members...sorry got sidetracked...

Thanks for the reminder.

BTW, if you want to hear Chickenfoot, you should be able to find downloads of their recent Roxy, Cambridge, Fillmore NYC, and Chicago shows. They've been playing the entire album (which was released today) and a few choice extra songs.

They are pretty entertaining.

Just saw the performance -- they weren't bad! It's kind of cool to see Satch in more of traditional band context.

It was funny how their Chickenfoot logo was emblazoned on everything. On both the guitar and the bass, on Sammy's t-shirt and on the bass drum. They're definitely working the marketing thing!

I love Sammy. He always just seems like the ultimate party guy to be around.

The logo thing is a little too much in my opinion. No need for it to be on everything. Ok, fine, square peace sign = Chickenfoot.. It's not as creative as they think it might be. I'd like it better if it wasn't plastered all over the stage. But all in all, looks like they're all having fun.

That was pretty funny.

Conan came up to the band, said to Joe: "show me how to do that" (probably meaning the wild trem stuff at the end). Joe pulled off his guitar, like I want you to have it. At first Conan's like, no, no, that's crazy, but then he realized Joe really wanted him to have it, so I guess he's going to keep it!

I DVDed it and ripped the audio.

Buckethead should sue :)

There have been so many articles on who to blame including Bartanelli.

I think we just have to humor them and take what we can get. They are all very talented and it doesn't matter what band you put them in.

Wonder what happened to Stevie Vai. He already knows most of the old songs.

Last night, Chad Smith was wearing a red wig with a Conan-like hair do!

And he had on a T-shirt with the message: I am Not Will Ferrell
