What a group we had to pick from in the last election, where are good ones?

The good ones and the ones we need to run the country don't want to. It is the people that WANT to run the country we have to worry about!

You said it bmc. I see us going the wrong way fast. I do not like the idea of Goverment be owner in any business like GM, state owned will never work. This was tried in England's auto industry and failed in the past. I hear state owned I think U.S.S.R. The goverment having steaks in the bank system, can you see the goverment evicting people that don't pay there morgage? I don't think so, the public will pay the tab.
People are saying already that of the Chrysler and GM filings that Chrysler stands the better chance because of the involement of Fiat where as GM is going to sell assets and restruture whith I believe the goverement will have 60% ownership and they claim the Goverment will not be running it though. That is just going to be a bottomless pit of us giving them money down the road.

No offense, but did we spend the last eight years going in the right direction? If we did, then I missed something. All I can say is the Bush Administration must have loved poor people because they sure created a whole lot of new ones...

Without a doubt W was a failure economically and internationally. But O has no clue how the world really looks at America. He really believes that a few good words and a positive attitude will bring everyone around. Well I have news for him, the Middle East has never cared for the west and it doesn't look like the will anytime soon either. Watch this greeting from yesterday.

Wake up call. They don't want anything to do with the U.S. or it's policies. Until our leadership realises that and truly changes our approach and does something to reduce our dependence on their oil nothing will change.

Much the same in england. The system needs to change, not the politicians

I see what you're saying, Joe. And believe me, I distrust all politicians. And especially the guys that can speak fairly well, like Regan and George H. did. But, if the government and big business didn't learn anything form the 70's Oil Crisis and Chrysler Bailout #1 when they partnered up with Mitibitshi to build the Horizon they will never learn.

But, I believe in being fair, though. Obama only had the job for a short time, and no one knows how it's gonna roll out in the end until his term is over. Americans have been sold out these past 8 years. Our jobs are in India and our homes are in forclosure. And everyone's being bailed out except the middle class. We're being robbed by the banks and the government is helping them do it. But, I guess all theives have to stick together.

WTF does this have to do with Fender guitars?

I don't go to Redstate and Daily Kos to talk about guitars, and I don't want to hear about your politics here...

Take it somewhere else.

Seriously.
