A Guild F-50R acoustic I used to own... a late 50's Epiphone Sheraton... a mid-80's MIJ Telecaster... all wonderful instruments.

But my fave is the Warmoth-etc. homebrew Strat-style guitar I'm playing now.

I've just bought a Burns Marvin. Very nice. Amazing tone and plays great.

1979 Gibson Les Paul KM -- Handmade Les Paul from the Kalamazoo plant (not to be confused with a mass-produced one from the Nashville plant).

This guitar -- as I have said before here -- is my "Eleanor" (this comment will only make sense to you if you have seen the movie Gone In Sixty Seconds).

It was a mid-80s Deluxe Stratocaster with Lace pickups, and instead of a typical 5-way switch, it had 3 push on-push off switches. Of course I tried typical Strat pickup combinations first, then the bridge and neck pickups together. Then I tried the ultimate...all 3 pickups turned on! It's too bad that I didn't have any money available for that one, at the time...oh well.

Besides the two I have now...an '88 Jackson Off-set flying V. Mine was white with black trim. That guitar was a Metal/Thrash dream machine. Wish I still had it, but had to sell it to pay some bills.

My 1983 Gibson Spirit... a close second would be the first Epiphone Casino I played, followed by the 1974 Gibson Les Paul Custom that Guitar Center had.

I know this is a Fender forum, but for me it was a Gibson Les Paul 25/50 Anniversary model--fantastic guitar.

Looked great, played great, sounded great.
I wish I could have afforded it at the time.
I certainly can't afford one now.

The best guitar I have ever played, imo, would be my very own 2007 MiM Strat. Haven't found another guitar, not even another Strat that seems to play like it. :D

And by the way, very nice Gibson Citation there! :D
