The Forums and I were born on the same day!

Thanks to Fender and to all the Forum members for being so incredibly encouraging, friendly and helpful to this beginner. And thanks especially to Brad, the best Community Manager working today anywhere.

Here's to many more happy years! Cheers everyone!

Only that long?

Wow--I joined earlier in the forum's history than I thought--although I rarely posted early on.

A big thanks to FMIC, and Brad and his crew that run the site, and all of the Fender employees who read and post to the board.

Another big thanks to the community that has formed here at the Fender Forum - it has made this forum a good place to come and participate.

And another thanks to Fender for randomly picking me as the winner of last summer's big prize - Brad's message caught me completely off guard - I never expected to be the big winner.

Yes, Brad and the crew have done a great job. You should see what they have to work with at NAMM. I got a behind the scene look and they were in cramped quarters.

And Brad is truly a nice dude, he took time out to talk with me as well Image

Wow, Brad looks like a guy I work with.
Not exact--but very close--they could fool people they're twins.

Haha - that's right! I wonder how many of us are prepared to admit we've bought Fender products specifically because of things we've read here?

I for one have an extra Tele I wouldn't have otherwise bought, and there may be (yet) another Strat coming soon... :D

Congrats to Brad and Fender, and happy anniversary... to all of us!

Cheers everyone - C

Let me pipe in here too! LOL.

Brad, thanks so much for making this forum happen! If it weren't for you and your hard work and dedication, this place would suck! And I really mean that! I can tell you how many System Admins and Moderators would work on weekends because the forum had issues! I only know of one. Brad!

Thanks for making this forum my "Go To" forum.

And thanks to all you people on here for being the guitar degenerates that you are! ;) Without you guys, I would get a lot more sleep!

Thank you one and all!

Huh, actually, I am an IT admin, well not here of course but I'm always on call and so are all of the IT admins at my company. Nights and weekends. Thanks especially to a little device called Blackberry.

Then again, I screw around the forum from work all the time :)

Happy 2 years, hope they wont be the terrible 2s.
