A strat of the era that he painted himself???

Truth be told all Jimi's guitars are a mystery. He wired some as all 3 pickups on some were left as standard, some contained a concoction of all 3 and standard. The only way you'd figure that is by playing them before they were given away or destroyed. Pretty much everyone he gave to rewired them as standard before playing them. The only one i can think of that wasnt tampered with since his death was the most recent sale that was as original wired.
