Here is the same question, as I'd originally posted at the Surf Guitar 101 Forums. Trying to track this one down has been a "thorn in my side" for several years.

Back in the early '90s, I worked as a temp. assigned at PolyGram's Indianapolis distribution center. When I was working in their loose CD pick section, I can remember pulling CDs for orders of an album called Southern Fried Chicken Head. Aside from the album title, I also remember that the album cover art featured a rooster head that appeared to have been battered and deep fried. I've tried a number of search engines, including at various stores such as Amazon, and even tried searching Universal Records U.S. and Universal Records U.K web sites, and nothing has turned up. This has me somewhat worried, as this album was either on a PolyGram or PolyDor label, and Universal Media Group has owned PolyGram for quite a while now.

I kind of figure that, after going through quite a bit of trouble trying to track down something like this, I may as well buy a copy, if such is available. If anybody here does know something about the album, more than the title and what the album cover looks like, would it be worth my while to track down a copy, music wise, or just for the uniqueness of the title and album cover artwork?
