Why do guitarists playing live tuck thier input cables between thier guitars and straps?

Since the topic wasn't guitar only-----

Why do TV newscasters tap their stack of copy at the end of a newscast?

Aren't they just going to throw them out anyway?

Why couldn't I be born rich instead of beautiful? :roll:

More importantly, why couldn't I be related to someone in the uppermost echelon at FMIC where pure nepotism will ensure my goodly self a sinecure? I have absolutely no problem making megabucks for playing and designing high-end Strats all day, every day, day in and day out!

I always thought i was born into the wrong family too. That there had been some mistake at the hospital. That a life of turmoil and slave labour was surely beneath me. Then at 15 i witnessed my dad giving hell (verbaly) to a neighbour who was agro'ing him. I realized that i didnt have a psychological disorder that caused me to be more offensive than anyone else when confronted and that my problems were genetic. A very sad day that.

Anyway i tuck my wireless cable through my strap and a few times round too. The lead is well over a meter long and does get trod on otherwise.
