Seems like a west coast thing. The closest they get is Panama City in the pan handle. I guess probably close to Gulf Breeze where everyone sees all those UFOs at night.

Looks like a nice event. Let me know what they have.

Well, I was expecting a little more fanfare than what was there. No banners, no big signs.
Looked like Skip's usual stock, which is pretty decent. Hecka excellent deals!!!!! The Fender Rep (I talked to him and can't remember his name) was cool and was giving additional discounts at the cash register when you bought something Fender over $100.00.
If you are looking to save some $$$$ on a Fender amp/guitar/bass I highly recommend checking out one of the Fender Fan Appreciation Days near you.

Yeah, the Fender Fan Appreciation Days are a throwback to our days of yore -- i.e., us gettin' out there pounding the pavement and going "old school." No huge fanfare, no onsite radio broadcasts, no fireworks going off ... just great deals and instant cash back direct from us on Fender & Squier gear.

Brad cant you get fender uk to do the same thing with pedals and accesories. Its doubtfull that the english market will go on a full blown spend fest but nicknacks and such should sell well.

They had a Fender day at one of the local shops yesterday and they were not on the list so whats there listed may not be all.

Brad, we need some here in the vast wasteland that is South Florida, the Fort Lauderdale area, maybe at MAE in Davie.

Brad
Yeah the deals were fabulous!!! I guess I just expected something more to let everyone that came in that something was afoot in the store.

Hey Chet,

I went through Sacramento on Friday and while going past Skip's on Bus. 80, thought to myself "Isn't Fender doing some kind of fan appreciation day there soon?" Well I didn't see anything on the front of the store, and if you know Skip's they aren't afraid to plaster any kind of neon, day-glo colored announcements all over the store front, just nothing from Fender. I checked again on my way home and thought it must be some other weekend. Well, maybe next year.
