Hey guys, i have an 06 American deluxe strat and my bridge is floating. The float seems a bit off, near the trem bar its very close to the body and by the low e it is kind of high. Is this natural or is there a way i can slightly adjust this.
Thanks for any help.

You can adjust the claw by tightening the screw to that side to add spring tension and bring it down. Might want to do a complete setup on it too.

Did this happen after you changes string guage?

As Joe says, just selectrively adhust the springs - but don't overdo it! Try little by little and don't forget to retune after adjusting as tension will change when you tune.
