Have to agree with the majority.

Overall it does take practice, and in some ways I wish I'd practiced more when I started, and that I practiced more wisely at times, but I did learn and improve through practice.

But there was also a fun side to it.
Not all of it was fun though.

I tried to share that when I taught as well--it's both.


But if there is no fun, then practice doesn't make sense--go practice something that will be fun to you.

Now I play for fun more often than I practice, but it's a hobby, and I play for fun, and I play in church--so that's what I practice.
